You are wrong in one point. Linux is not Linus against BSD, but IBM, Intel and
Co. against Microsoft.

We have now a plenty of "just one other FO's" (as we had and have Minix,
FreeBSD, Solaris Ix86 etc.). But FO is a supported standard. And it is already
an "against M$ standard" ;-)
