Hi,

Two (simple) XPath questions.

1) Why does ".//" work, but "//" not? (This query is done on the document
root.)

2) What's the effect of appending an extra "/" at the end of an XPath
expression?

For instance, if I have "data/row/col" (would give all cells in a simple
matrix), what are the rules that apply when I add an extra slash and get
"data/row/col/"?
