XSLT 1.0 specifically states that the "/" path operator can't be used with a result-tree-fragment argument. What's the reasoning behind this restriction? Can you give a reference to the appropriate part of the spec? I would've thought it's fairly intuitive to use '/' with a result-tree-fragment.
