Actually I thought you were making quite a habit of it.
Maybe I'll be more informed once your book arrives (I've already read
it of course, but the version I saw didn't have the cute front cover:-)

Ah the annoying thing about this is that I knew that really. Honest.

In earlier drafts you would have been able to detect the difference with
copy-of as it couldn't be applied to strings, but by the time of the REC
copy-of works on strings like value-of and so perhaps you can't tell
now without an extension element.
