Hello,

I am Marta Lobato, a final year student at 
Trinity College of Dublin.

For my project I am using XSL and I have a question
that I would be so grateful if you can help me.

I have the following element:

  <graphic name="pic01">

And my XSL has to write <img src="pic01.gif"> or
<img src="pic01.jpg">  The problem is that I have not
got the extension of the graphic, and if I access
the img directory I can find it out, but I do not
know if you can do it from the XSL file.
