Thank you very much for this, to all who worked on XSLT and XPath! I use it
all the time. XSLT is a particularly useful and powerful tool by itself.
And I think the secondary applications of it will be even more useful, along
the lines of Schematron.
But I especially applaud the extra effort that must have gone into
separating XPath from XSLT. XPath provides a great foundation for big
improvements in many directions, for XML applications and for the web
overall.
