Hi folks,

I'm using a servlet compiled by SAXON to serve HTML pages.
The problem is that:

1. when i use this with a stylesheet:
...
<person>
<name>John Smith</name>
, <age>23</age>
</person>
...

it produces: "John Smith , 23" instead of "John Smith, 23"

2. when i use this with a stylesheet:
...
<person>
<name>John Smith</name>, <age>23</age>
</person>
...

it produces: "John Smith, 23" which is OK.

So, SAXON converts a newline to space. Is it a bug?
