There's a new release of XT available at:
http://www.jclark.com/xml/xt.html
The main change is that if you start your stylesheet with
<xsl:stylesheet
xmlns:xsl="http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-xsl"
xmlns="http://www.w3.org/TR/REC-html40"
result-ns="">
it will recognize that you are generating HTML rather than XML and
output the result tree accordingly.
