Hello List Sorry to have to resort this, but I am seriously keen to find some contract work with an XML database project somewhere in this big wide world. Apparently, from my searches on job web-sites, there is nothing happening in this arena in Australia, plenty of integration related XML work yes (some even using XQuery via Oracle SOA) but not in the context of a database. I am trying to build a business around this specialisation, but sadly it does seem a bit of a chicken and egg situation in Australia (i.e. no one understands it so no one asks for it). I am also interested to hear from anyone in Australia who has the same kind of interest/problem.
