I am interested in what's behind this question.

Is this a simple question of how to print the text in an XML document immutably?
Is this a request for some sort of formatting / color coding / ???
Does this link to print-based transformations?
Something else?

I ask because the simple answer is print to PDF using whatever tools lets you do that, but the question may be more interesting than that...

Subject: PDF to XML

Is there a tool/process for such conversions? I suppose I could always do it with Adobe Acrobat Professional (can I?).

Be grateful for commentary from someone who has been there before.
