This is a 5 years old common sense reply

        <sequence maxOccurs="unbounded">
            <book:element name="A" minOccurs="0"> </book:element>
            <magazine:element name="B" minOccurs="0"> ... </magazine:element>
        </sequence>
    </group>

possibly so wrong that it hurts :-/
