Nice write up Simon.  This seems more accepting of structured XML data management approaches than I've come to expect from you recently.  Something going on or is this just an anomaly?

From an XML perspective, XProc plays a starring role here, making it relatively easy for people to connect transformations rather than build transformations.

Thanks to everyone here and at Balisage for various combinations that made these connections seem more real.
