The Syntext Serna WYSIWYG XML editor is driven by XSLT and XSL-FO, but I couldn't find any details about the implementation. Given everything that XSLT lets you do, how can the contribution of a piece of input to the output be tracked in a practical way?
The key is that XSLT is side-effect free. James
