Just in time for Christmas!

LIBX* is a project to implement XPath 2.0 and XSLT 2.0 using the Gnome libxml2 and libxslt libraries respectively.

LIBX* December 2010 Beta Release is now available for download from:

http://www.explain.com.au/libx

This release adds the xpath2 module to libxml2. libxslt has been reengineered to use the xpath2 module and sequences.

Unfortunately, I have not (yet) been able to include an implementation of XML 2.0/μXML/SXML/Whatever. As soon as everyone decides exactly what that will be, and what it will be called, I'll get right on to that ;-) My 2¢ worth: XML subset+Namespace reform+RELAX NG.

Happy Holidays,
Steve Ball
