I am happy to announce that a new version of oXygen XML editor is 
available from our website

In version 12 we wanted to improve the user experience so a number of 
dialogs and views were analyzed and redesigned:

We added support in the Author mode for profiling/conditional text for 
any XML vocabulary. The following 5 minutes video demonstration shows 
how that works for DITA:

A nice addition on the development part is the support for highlighting 
occurrences of different components in XSLT and XML Schema. For example 
if the caret is placed on a variable name the all the occurrences of 
that variable are highlighted:
