which reminds me, I gave a talk back in 2001  at the first (only) XSLT 
UK conference based in part on that paper. I couldn't find the slides to 
that just now, but Jeni made a report of the conference including bits 
of my talk, although she mainly highlighted another useful reference 
work in this area:
