I'm sorry but I don't think you can say the second two are more generic than the first two. I think maybe to say something is generic it should have a data model, like XML is a tree format, and RDF is a directed graph. I mean it seems to me at that level you can argue about genericicity, but your second versions aren't generic, they are just more general. As for whether one should markup data or behavior I suppose the proper answer is both but if one has to choose I would then go with Data. Cheers, Bryan rasmussen
