That is very true, but in this instance it is known that Cisco have  
been researching this for several years, with genuine performance  
analysis to back their claims that they are seeing performance  
issues. I'm more than willing to believe that they didn't just  
acquire these guys just because efficient XML is fashionable in  
network equipment and enterprise solutions these days.
