  Your validator is right.  Your root node is:

    {http://globals.namespace.org/}standaloneArticle

and it is not defined in the schema.  Even if you have a:

   
{http://globals.namespace.org/content/xml/xsd/v10/article/single/}standaloneArticle

  But it is a completely different element.
