A few weeks ago you implied that firmnware and custom silicon was an old school

I don't see silicon solutions (ASICs, custom boards) as dead technology. Several
companies have taken that approach to XML acceleration. One company claims to
have a board that's the equivalent of 20 Xeon servers.
