Perhaps someone might care to summarize the discussion and other issues
from xmlschema-dev.

We are obviously at the start of a big XQuery marketing push, where
all sorts of claims will be made. Now perhaps, as with RDF, interoperability
plays very little part of XQuery: it may just be another method to access
