Just to be clear, the page Peter refers to is a list of pointers to lots
of things XML & database: product lists, articles, books, benchmarks, 
and so on.

I also maintain a (reasonably up-to-date) list of products that you can
use with XML and databases:

Kalirathinam -- you will be most interested in the middleware products, 
which do what he needs:

As Peter says, there are both Open Source and commercial products available.
