I would also point out that Microsoft (or any large company) has more 
vulnerabilities than small companies when releasing software based on 
working drafts. Such releases always bring the risk of backwards 
incompatibilities, and these are far more likely to bite you (or bring 
mounds of negative publicity) when you have thousands or tens of 
thousands or zillions of customers than when you have 10 or 50 or 100.
