 From what I've seen over the last 6-9 months, XACML is indeed picking 
up a lot of steam. It's being picked up in a number of large projects 
that I know about, and probably many others (like yours) that I don't 
know are out there. Pretty much everyone I talk with likes what they 
see, and are enthusiastically planning how to grow XACML use. I would 
expect it to stick around for a little while still :)
