Yes.  I had never seen the term 'optimized xml' 
used before.  I have seen 'binary'.  The X3D draft standard 
left a slot open for a binary for X3D because

1) Sufficient experience with very large VRML 
   documents proved it was needed for real time 3D.

2) Customers demand it.

Let's see what happens if a packaged document 
set is wanted as well.  That is quite likely.
