Yes.  Nasty diversion though and whatever else it does, 
it smears an effort that doesn't deserve it.  I've got 
no problem with bare-knuckled competition; that's business. 
This isn't that; this is crap.

Between these guys and the spammers, it makes one want to go 
back to the Federal snail mail.  Hey, maybe it's a plot 
by paper envelope manufacturers in cahoots with stamp 
glue producers!

The worm installs a proxy for sending spam and a backdoor.
It's just plain malware. The SCO DDoS is only a diversion.

(Today another hundred or so open proxies announced themself
to me. Perhaps I should have send this off-topic spam through
one of them... :-)
