Putting the username in the URL works wonders. It works through firewalls, and unlike cookies it can easily move from one computer to another. I frequently roll my chair from my Mac OS 9 box to my Mac OS X laptop to my Linux workstation depending on what I need to do. It's a problem if the same URLs on one system don't show me the same result as the URLs on the others. -- Elliotte Rusty Harold elharo@m...
