  • Thread-topic: Generating Trees from XML Schema

I'm not sure this is what you want but the XmlSchema class in the .NET Framework has the Attributes & Elements properties which could be used to generate such a list programmatically.

Subject: Generating Trees from XML Schema

The subject is misleading because I don't have
a more precise term for the question, in fact,
that is part of the question:

1. Is there a means to generate a complete
node list (all elements and attributes regardless
of structure) for a given XML Schema including
restrictions, extensions, etc? In other words,
any element or attribute that the Schema validly
    declares?

2. Is there a name for such a thing?

3. Are there existing products that do this
and emit this list? Open source preferred.

Thanks!
