The new amendments to the ISO/IEC/ITU-T standards for ASN.1 related to extended XML encodings have been pre-published on the ITU-T website and are publicly available for download at:

http://www.itu.int/ITU-T/studygroups/com17/languages/

*All* the ASN.1 standards (and other ITU-T recommendations) can be downloaded for free from this webpage (gone are the times when you had to pay for such standards).

The new documents are those described as "Support for EXTENDED-XER" in the "Title" column, but the most important of them is X.693 Amendment 1.

Notice that X.694 (translation from XML Schema to ASN.1) is still missing from this list.
