If you want a larger example of how change can transform a whole group
of classes, take a look at some of the changes to process to support
just-in-time manufacturing.  It seems like it should be a matter of
connecting existing parts together more smoothly, but it creates whole
new classes of critical information.

(It's not my example - Jon Bosak used that example in some ebXML
presentations years ago.)
