http://www.books24x7.com has full-length IT and business books available
online that you can add notes to, bookmark, etc.
However, you must purchase an annual licence (I think ours was around
5,000 USD/yr for our department 5 developers).  Sounds steep, yes, but
they have all of our favorite publishers (except O'Reilly, sadly), which
means that we can preview before we purchase for most of the books; or
for the "less travelled" subjects, we can just use the online version.
