And PR flaks make inflammatory claims that their newest products will make 
the world better, brighter, and faster, regardless of their products' and 
their PR's potential to negatively impact our industry.

Maybe everyone should shut up for a while and write code.  Maybe even focus 
on the code, not the politics or the business.

(Maybe I've just gotten too many press releases from people who think I 
actually care when they receive a new round of investment or land a big 
bland customer.)
