The XML export built into QuarkXPress is pretty weak, but there are
some third party tools that work very nicely in the right circumstances.
They have different strengths; some do tables well, others are tolerant
of inconsistently styled Quark files. As a start you might want to
look into:

Company: Apropos Toy & Tool Development
Product(s): RoustaboutXT, Roustabout, XPress XML
Web: http://www.attd.com/xml/products.html.

--------------------------------------
Company: EasyPress (Avatar distributes in US)
Product(s): Atomik
Web: http://www.atomik-xt.com

--------------------------------------
Company: North Atlantic Publishing Systems
Product(s): NTS
Web: http://www.napsys.com.

Hope that helps.
