Didier,

I am a bit confused why doing XQuery from XSLT would be useful. 
My understanding was that XQuery really provides little 
functional benefit over XSLT for many common XML processing 
tasks. I have not followed the latest XQuery drafts but this was  
my impression from the earlier versions. Are you thinking of 
performance benefits or was this in the context of calling an 
external XQuery engine from XSLT?
