I haven't received anything from XML-Dev for days. Just testing to see that 
the list server hasn't had one of its periodic hiccups. ... Or, less likely, 
maybe everyone on list has had an acute attack of shyness! :)

And, if perchance, this gets through to the list, I would like to wish 
everyone a Happy New Year when it comes.
