Wow.  I come back from a conference feeling optimistic about the state
of XML and even strangely hypertext and XML and even more strangely
Microsoft and XML for the first time in a few years, and we're arguing
about namespace URIs again.

I really wish there was a way to kill this permathread dead.  Then we
could get on to all the other 45 000+ URI arguments...

(Or is that URI references?  I don't think I'll ever escape.)
