also apropos to the ongoing XML/RDF debates, RDF/XML is not the only conceivable syntax with which to encode OWL, for example an XML presentation syntax for OWL defined using an XML Schema:

and with an example instance document:

http://www-db.research.bell-labs.com/user/pfps/owl/schema-2-example.xml

Indeed there might be any number of alternate XML syntaxes for RDF any of which are 'better' than RDF/XML e.g. Tim's
