I am profoundly ;-) sorry for attempting to send a throwaway line to
this group.  It reinforces my faith in xml-dev's ability to deconstruct
just about any nonsense until it sqeals for mercy.

Still, I like the direction it spun off into: "Identify a Bozo
who wasn't trying to be foolish but all would agree is/was a Bozo."

It's hard, partly because journalists and historians get points for
flipping the conventional wisdom on its head, and little for
exhaustively documenting the obvious.   It's also hard because
people -- Newton comes to mind -- can be remembered for their genius
while their crackpot ideas that they devoted the bulk of
their lives to are forgotten.
