Not quite (tho' if it was it wouldn't be a bad thing). In any case, 
XDuce is a full-blown language in its own right, at least it was the 
last time I looked.

I have to say that if I were looking for a genuinely innovative approach 
to XML APIs, XDuce and it's like would be my first port of call.
