After a quick reading, I think a little more work can dispense with the
namespaces baggage and folderol completely.  That is, Hlink can be cast as
the first application of something a friend has dubbed XMap.  (It would
require HLink taking on the role of XLink - or simply redefining the *use*
of XLink - and then using XMap to allow applications to use it any way
they please.)
