Just a quick question
When you said: "if you find a [validation root] property on the Element
Information Item " I didn't think there was anything to do with a
validation root that you could put on an Element Information Item in the
original Infoset, so I went to look, not noticing it.
Can you point me to a specification that describes how the validation
root is assigned as a property to an Element Information Item

(is there in fact anything keeping it from being in the Document
Information Item)?
