Well, it's a great language. When combined with Mozilla's other features
and standards support, makes a good web app platform.
Some stuff are hard to explore right now, that's for sure... You have to
view the damn source code to figure out where you are and what you can
do, which may not always be what you really want to do.

I'm not sure whether the two are comparable but anyway.

XUL has some very neat features in both widgets and layout model. Add
it's JavaScript1.5, The best DOM and CSS support amongst browsers, XML
and XSLT, MathML and many more...
Most importantly, XUL and friends fit well together, making it easier to
separate information, presentation, behavior and localization.

If only XForms where supported... Still working on that XUL Schema. 

Just think that I was hooked to XUL to write a tutorial; now  can't stop
myself.
