Another case of hype and hysteria combined with greed and fear 
doing their ugly numbers on rational decision making.

We'll be ten years cleaning up the mess left by the hijacking 
of the international standards processes by the consortia in 
the name of "Internet Time".

One of the biggest obstacles (imho) will be non-technical.  My 
previous employer wanted nothing to do with RELAX NG because it 
didn't come from the W3C.
