Hi,

I have XML file and stylesheet. For a stylesheet I have used
http://www.w3.org/TR/WD-xsl to make it work for IE 5.5. When I tried to open
XML file on IE 6 I got an error saying: "The stylesheet does not contain a
document element. The stylesheet may be empty, or it may not be a
well-formed XML document." Stylesheet works fine in IE 5.5.

Isn't IE backward compatible and doesn't it support previous recommendation?
Is there any way to make XSL working on both versions without installing
newer version of MSXML on IE5? What am I supposed to do to make it working
on both versions without installing newer version of MSXML?

Thank you

Tomas
