You can tunnel IP over HTTP, too :-)

I guess there's nothing stopping somebody from tunneling IP over CORBA over 
HTTP over TCP/IP over pigeons...

This is a different form of the Turing Tarpit, I reckon: that place where 
debates over the expressive power of programming languages go to, when 
everyone points out that all the languages can express the same set of 
algorithms.
