APRA, the Australian Prudential Regulatory Agency, has announced that XBRL
is being used to overhaul data collection from funds, insurers and banks and
it is also forwarding aggregated data in XBRL to the Australian Bureau of
Statistics and the Reserve Bank of Australia.
