I'll be also interested to bring those ideas ahead!

In the past, I had developed some tools for RSS which were (amongst 
other) translating a simple text format to and from RSS 1.0:

And I wonder if writing a SAX Parser/writer to read/write wiki text as 
XML wouldn't be a cool way to handle this.
