perhaps we should give the WD proper credit by simply ignoring its existence
;-)

(approving the Unicode alignment, but still wondering about the
IBM-proprietary line-ending stuff)

(and curious about IBM playing hardball with W3C in order to get this
recognized as a worthy cause)
