LexisNexis (www.lexisnexis.com), a leading provider of products and services for professionals in law, business, education and government, is looking for XML professionals to support its emerging XML editorial and product delivery systems in its Dayton, Ohio headquarters. The XML Analyst and Senior XML Analyst positions will help build the company's XML-based system. These positions will create XML DTDs and schemas for a broad array of information types and develop data processing standards and procedures used by staff. The company seeks individuals experienced at writing SGML or XML DTDs, with a strong knowledge of XML and its related standards. Experience with modeling legal or financial information is particularly helpful. Familiarity with one or more core programming languages (particularly XSLT, Java, Perl, Omnimark) and experience with commercial XML tools is also a plus. The people in these jobs give presentations and write documentation, so good oral and written communication skills are very important. As the jobs can involve organizing and running analytical workshops, good presentation and meeting skills are critical.
