If you truely believe your use cases of XML are all that matter, then you
are. But advanced uses of XML will not affect your ability to interact with
XML directly. So far, nothing has invalidated the concept of well formed
XML. XML is XML regardless of whether it has a schema, DTD, or what have
you.
